    2. EPISODE - GOBLIIINS,TERRARIA,GOLDEN SUN

    OLD ONE - GOBLIIINS

    OBJECTIVE VIEW

Gobliiins is a puzzle adventure video game series, consisting of four entries, released by Coktel Vision (and later Sierra On-Line) for the Amiga, Atari ST, MS-DOS, and Macintosh and Windows platforms. The games mix elements of adventure and puzzle gaming. In essence, the player must find the solution to each area (or level), consisting of one or more screens, in order to progress to the next.
In game player controls goblins as player characters, each of whom has a unique set of abilities . The player may only control one character at a time but, depending on the specific scene, may switch characters at will. All games are available in CD format. The CD version also censors the nudity featured in the original game.
The story follows the three goblins as they attempt to aid their king, who has gone insane under mysterious circumstances. They meet with the wizard Niak, who informs them he can cure the king's madness if they bring him three items.

    SUBJECTIVE VIEW

I played that game on amiga 500+.That game has drastically better graphic than most  games on Amiga at that time (I'm not counitng Amiga 1200),and before new era of gaming this game was really funny.Retarded faces, dumb looking side characters, funny puzzles, that was good game, hard but good. What is most valuable part of game is fact that  game pushes your mind over conventionally thinking because solving all of puzzles don't include logic every time and often is based on weird way of thinking which opens mind to new thoughts and ideas never seen or thought before.Ok maybe there are some weirdos who will say that puzzles are antural but I'm talking about vast majority of normal people. :)
Don't get me wrong, this game is old, gameplay is slow and moving characters, interacting with things around them.....it's awfull but when there is nothing much more better than this you are forced to play it because it serves good graphic, good humor and it was fresh idea in that time so  my thumb for this game will go up!And if I compare this game with Gobliins 4 which was created in 3d I can only say that 2d graphic style goes better with this particular game, because when they replaced  all with 3d game lost their main visual magic reminding on some wacky strip series or something like that, far more better than latest Gobliiins release.

     NEW ONE - TERRARIA

    OBJECTIVE VIEW
Terraria is a 2D action-adventure sandbox video game developed by Re-Logic. The game was initially released for Microsoft Windows in May 2011, and has since been released for various other platforms and devices. Gameplay of Terraria  revolves around exploration, building, and combat. The game has a 2D sprite tile-based graphical style reminiscent of the 16-bit sprites  and beacuse of its classic exploration-adventure style of gameplay, compared to titles such as the Metroid series and Minecraft.

Game starts in a procedurally generated world and player starts with three basic tools: a pickaxe for mining, a shortsword for combat, and an axe for woodcutting. Many resources, notably ores, can be found while mining or exploring underground caves. The player begins with a limited amount of health and magic points, which can both be increased by finding certain items by exploring or mining The player uses resources to craft new items and equipment at an appropriate crafting station for that recipe.Several advanced items in Terraria require multiple crafting operations where the product of one recipe is used as an ingredient for another.Gameplay basically consists of defeating series of bosses until final Moon lord is defeated but after that player can continue playing and  game ends when player decides to end it.

I'm playing games from 90' so this graphic style way smile bringer to me.After creating my first character I tried to explore here and there and found myself lost in  a vast of everything without any help(there was help but I was too dumb to notice that I can ask guide for everything hehe). So I wandered for some time until I decided to find help or any info how to progress online nad soon after finding Official Terraria Wiki I spent many hours there trying to memorize as much as I can and then later trying to implement all that knowledge in game....and then I noticed that guide and all that people started to arriving in my miserably created first town. After half year or maybe after whole year I managed to finish game  and learned how to kill Moon lord clinicaly but all that strive and struggle wasn't enough for me so I decided to starrt immidiately form scratch only this time on hard mode.Don't ask if am I tried to set character on hardcore mode,I tried...and I will not try that ever again ;)
And after I grinded game horizontally and vertically i can say that Terraria is real revolution in 2d games because it brings vastness of Skyrim into 2d setting and doing it very neat, enemies are numerous, bosses are  challenging, line of leveling up is created focusing on details and when you give yourself chance to dive into one of Terraria randomyl generated world you will find yourself hooked for a very long time so beware, don't play that gam eif you don't have really long time to spent on playing game because when you start dig there is no end :)
Can't wait to play Terraria Otherworld, and obviously I will not wait anymore beacuse game was cancelled  hehe.

    HANDHELD - GOLDEN SUN

    OBJECTIVE VIEW

Golden Sun[a] is a 2001 role-playing video game developed by Camelot Software Planning and published by Nintendo. It was released in August 2001 for Nintendo's Game Boy Advance, and is the first installment in the Golden Sun series.Golden Sun's story follows a band of magic-attuned "Adepts" whose purpose, as it is revealed early on, is to protect the world of Weyard from alchemy, a potentially destructive power that was sealed away long ago. During their quest, the Adepts gain new abilities (called Psynergy), assist others, and learn more about why alchemy was sealed away.
The game was highly praised by critics; IGN's Craig Harris said that Golden Sun could "arguably be one of the best 2D-based Japanese RPGs created for any system."Golden Sun is a traditional role-playing video game in which the player controls a cast of four characters as they journey through a fantasy-themed world, interact with other characters, battle monsters, acquire increasingly powerful abilities and equipment, and take part in an ongoing narrative.Much of the time spent outside of battle takes place in dungeons, caves filled with varoius puzzles. These puzzles require the player to perform a variety of actionsor using "Psynergy" ("Energy" in the Japanese version),this is in contrast to many RPGs, which often restrict magic to within battles and post-combat healing. Players can return to previous locations in the game to finish puzzles which they could not solve earlier because of the lack of a specific Psynergy spell.

Well, I'm not going against mass because I simply adore this game and I remember only positive things about this game.Atmosphere is great, contrast between green plains and dark dungeons is perfect and when you acquire mind read spell then all fun starts. You can play game and start with main or side quests but you can read anybody's mind and I remember spending too many hours reading minds just to see how deep this game really goes. Not every rpg is great and worth to spent your time on it but this one it certainly is.Story is interesting enough to keep you attached till the end.Battles are fast and fluid, everything in game works in perfect order so if you are in situation to play this game I strongly recommend it especially if you are an random encounter rpg fan.
